Having listed a penguin crossing just before xmas, Shappless has set the bar high early this year with his interference on the proposed demolition of a Liverpool slum (allegedly) once the home of Beatles Drummer Pete Best. Ringo Starr's home did not warrant consideration because he truly wasn't the best drummer the Beatles ever had.
For a government committed to a local agenda, where local people make local decisions, this interference seems paradoxical. What next a park bench once used for dogging by Ron Davies or a kerb once mounted by George Michael to be given the once over by English Heritage?
This one has legs...
