Local Authority Planners receive much needed boost to their egos

So we heard yesterday that Local Authority planners are the new evil! We here at Three Magnets wonder whether David Cameron imagines himself as a James Bond or Luke Skywalker type character after all those naughty villains.

This is great of course for the egos of all the local government planning types who have wondered whether their jobs made any difference at all.  Dinner party conversations will be filled with chatter about planners now!  

Forget banking my son's going to be a planner!

Let's face it, if you're reading this you know that planners have always been cool.  Who would you rather be Luke Skywalker or Han Solo or Darth Vader (we bet you didn't choose Luke).

Apparently it's all down to a handful of planners and not the wbankers that have crapped up our economy....  Still never fear when Tesco is running our planning departments they will all help small businesses print free money and build large scale developments....
