Our ferret reveals that it was only a last minute injunction from a Texan Court that prevented the merger of CABE and EH this morning in a move that seem destined to put the former champions at CABE into administration.

Legal teams from both parties are believed to be hotfooting it to Court this morning in a move which could bring the merger forward. Premier Pickles Rules demand that any quango going into administration would almost certainly lose 9 points, threatening it with relegation to an expert panel or perhaps even an advisory body within the Planning Inspectorate.
