Planning Myths: Demistified

if the best the RTPI can come up with is demystifying planning then worry

Stick a bunch of planners in a room and see if they can agree on the following:

1. Is it a myth?

2. If not what is it?

3. How can we measure it?

4. What should we do to control it?

5. How should we consult on it?

6. Is it committee or delegated.

7. Can I appeal?

and remember. "Myth is neither a lie nor a confession: it is an inflexion".
